Zekeriyaköy area notes

Zekeriyaköy is the centre of the belt and its most established village. Its high street works like a neighbourhood high street, and the housing comes in two layers: villa compounds built in different periods stand side by side with detached houses on generous gardens.

Even within the village, two houses can differ a great deal. Walking distance to the high street, elevation and slope, and the way a façade faces the sun and the wind all change daily life. Inside a compound, security, shared grounds, a pool and the service charge are part of the arrangement; in a fully detached house every one of those becomes the owner's responsibility. That is why we compare homes by where they sit in the village, not only by room count and price.

The school bus routes are densest here, and roads and services stay most reliable in winter. The run into the city goes via the Hacıosman metro link and the northern ring road connections; because the time depends on the hour, try it once at the morning peak before deciding.
