Uskumruköy area notes

Uskumruköy is the village that comes closest to the koru, the protected woodland. Plots are more open, gardens are used more freely, and the belt's new developments have concentrated along this line in recent years; it is quieter than Zekeriyaköy and a few minutes from its high street.

Where so much of the stock is new, the first questions are the title and the occupancy permit: construction servitude or full condominium title, and has the occupancy permit been issued. In compounds that are still being built or have only just been handed over, what the service charge will cover, and whether a management has even been set up, may not be settled yet.

Day-to-day shopping needs a car. In return, on plots bordering the woodland there are trees behind the house rather than buildings — for someone who will really use a garden, this is the strongest option in the belt. The GO Partners office is in Uskumruköy too.
